Plaza de Toros

The Plaza de Toros de Alicante is Alicante's historic Bullring.

Bullfights are normally held at 7 PM.  The fights generally involve three matadors (bullfighters) and six toros (bulls).

If you would like to visit the bullring but not view a bullfight, consider attending a different type of event.  Music concerts, for example, are sometimes held at Plaza de Toros.

There is also a Bullfighting Museum in the complex. It features exhibits on famous Alicante bullfighters.
